fer + dan, sunrise in the woods

These are strange times. The days are full of uncertainty but still the world keeps going and somehow we're missing its every day magic. The sunrise is part of that magic that makes you stop for a while and just enjoy. This time of the year feels like the earth wakes up slowly, with a very long yawn, as we all humans do.

Our destination was just like this. We drove for a couple hours into the dark, until the weak beams of light started showing up through the fog in the mountains. The ground was damp and our feet wet and cold, but every piece of light we found in the darkness felt like a little warm paradise. It was so simple, and cool, and beautiful.

Here are some photos of a quiet, very cold morning in the woods, chasing that unique light October has. Thank you Fer and Dan, for making a big trip from home and waking up hours before the sun came up, to do this with me.

Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
